The Liberal Democrats draw on a rich heritage of liberal and social democratic traditions stretching back to the seventeenth century. We publish two guides to further reading:

- An introductory reading list providing a brief guide to some of the best histories of the party and its predecessors.

- A bibliography of all the major published books about the history of the party and its predecessors (this version dates from 2003, and is currently being updated).


Liberal Democrat History Group books
