Annual subscriptions to the Journal of Liberal History are available to individuals and institutions in the United Kingdom and worldwide. All subscribers receive a printed copy of each issue of the Journal published during the subscription year. Online subscribers also enjoy online access to all current and past issues of the Journal.
Subscriptions, and print copies of single issues and back numbers, can be purchased from the Liberal History Shop.
Journal subscribers qualify for a 20% discount on books and booklets published by the History Group – see page 3 of the most recent issue of the Journal for the discount code to apply when ordering from the Liberal History Shop.
An annual subscription to the Journal of Liberal History costs £25.00 (£15.00 unwaged) for individuals in the UK, and £35.00 (£25.00 unwaged) for subscribers with addresses outside the UK. This includes membership of the Liberal Democrat History Group unless you inform us otherwise. We also welcome donations towards our publishing and research work.
Online access during the subscription year to the password-protected pdf versions of current and past issues of the Journal costs £45.00 for all subscribers. Online subscribers will be sent a password (changed each year) for access to the protected area of this site, and will also receive printed copies of each new Journal.
Our subscription year runs from October to October and includes four issues (published mid-September, mid-January, mid-April and mid-July). Subscribers receive all issues of the Journal published during the subscription year, whenever they initially subscribe, and will be asked to renew from the following October. Anyone subscribing after July will be placed in the next subscription year unless they request not to be.
You do not have to be a member of the Liberal Democrats to join the History Group.
You can subscribe through the Liberal History Shop; payment will be taken through PayPal by credit or debit card, or through a PayPal account. If you prefer to subscribe by cheque, please download the LDHG membership form and return it with your payment to the Membership Secretary.
Renewing a subscription
Existing subscribers to the Journal of Liberal History can maintain their subscriptions by standing order, or by annual renewal. A standing order form, as printed on the reminder letter, can be obtained on request to the Membership Secretary at email@example.com.
Renewals can also be made through PayPal by credit or debit card, or through a PayPal account, via the Liberal History Shop.
